Board bids Spangler a fond farewell
The Clarke County Board of Education said good-bye to one of its most knowledgable members recently.
Denise Spangler, the College of Education's associate dean for faculty and staff services and a former head of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, is leaving the board after serving for three terms. She began serving on the school board in 2002, and will be replaced by Greg Davis.
