Founded in 1908, the College of Education is integral to the University of Georgia and is perennially ranked among the top research institutes in the country. The College is a center for innovative research, teaching, and service projects of regional, national, and international interest.

As one of the largest and most diverse colleges of education in the nation, we offer more than a dozen undergraduate majors and approximately 90 graduate programs leading to careers in teaching and education, exercise and sport science, workforce development leaders, counselors, and related health fields.

About Our StudentsWe enroll about 4,300 students every year, including 2,400 undergraduates and 1,900 graduate students.
About Our FacultyOur faculty are experts in topics such as movement/exercise science, Common Core and student motivation, autism and behavioral studies, and student assessment.
About Our GraduatesFrom the class of 2014, 72 percent report they are employed full-time, while another 12 percent is attending graduate school. We have more than 59,000 living alumni around the world.
