Educational Administration and Policy

Examine educational leadership and policy issues, current reform movements, and ways to improve student learning and accountability at the local, state, and national levels through our programs in educational administration and policy.

Our students work closely with faculty throughout their time in a degree program, working on grant-funded projects, journal articles, and policy-related projects. Faculty are nationally recognized in the areas of educational leadership, policy, and school law. Their areas of focus include:

    Hone your interest and expand your analytical and theoretical skills in preparation for law- and policy-oriented careers in a broad range of education organizations. The MEd curriculum builds on foundations of theory, method, and practice and addresses a range of contemporary education policy issues from an interdisciplinary lens.
