Human Movement Science

Introduction

Human Movement Science is an interdisciplinary field studying the physics, biology, and psychology of how humans move, focusing on optimizing function, improving performance, preventing injury, and aiding rehabilitation across lifespan activities from daily tasks to sports. It integrates principles from biomechanics, physiology, anatomy, and motor control to understand movement and develop interventions for health, fitness, and recovery.
