Part 2: Program Admissions Requirements

Some undergraduate degree programs have requirements that are unique for that program. Any such details for the BSEd in Science Education appear below.

For the BSEd in Science Education

Students may apply for admission to the science education major (in any emphasis area) as soon as they have completed Core Curriculum Areas I-V and begun to take courses in Core Area VI. A GPA of at least 3.0 is normally required for admission to the major, and should be maintained through completion of the program.

A minimum grade of C is required in all science and education courses. A minimum GPA of 2.5, absolutely without exception, is required to enroll in any science education course (including field experiences) and to be recommended for certification upon graduation.
