Faculty and Curriculum

Our research-based model for the EdS degree focuses on career, work ethic, and innovation to strategically prepare a global workforce that can navigate work, even in jobs that don't yet exist at the time the education takes place.

The program includes at least 30 semester hours beyond the master's degree. The three major areas of coursework center around career development, innovation, and work ethic. Two courses are taught each academic term (including summers), taught using a hybrid delivery of 75 percent online to 25 percent face-to-face, in-class meetings.

Coursework focuses on the issues of applied leadership, research, and issues in the field.

Face-to-face classes typically take place during four weekends of the semester, Friday evening and Saturday morning in Griffin.
