Boost your classroom skills and potentially your pay grade by earning an endorsement in K-5 mathematics through our program designed for full-time teachers. Common Core and new annual assessments have elevated the importance of math in schools. Help your students rise to the challenge by expanding your own knowledge.
Almost all in-state students begin their studies at UGA paying limited tuition or fees. Please note that these amounts are subject to change and are meant to give prospective students an idea of the costs associated with a degree at the University of Georgia College of Education.
Students may qualify for a variety of assistantships, scholarships, and other financial awards to help offset the cost of tuition, housing, and other expenses.
Most graduate students at UGA are not assigned to a faculty advisor until after admittance. A close working relationship with your advisor is paramount to progressing through your program of study.
To complete the K-5 endorsement only (not as part of a degree program), apply to the UGA Graduate School as a non-degree student. You will need to include a statement of purpose. Note that only 9 hours of coursework taken as a non-degree student can later be used toward a degree. Thus, if you decide to pursue either the MEd or EdS on the Griffin campus, you must do so within your first 9 hours of coursework in order to use the endorsement courses toward a degree.
