Questions about Planned Giving?
Whether it’s creating a named scholarship for a graduate or undergraduate student to cover tuition and living expenses or start a faculty research fund, a major gift has the power to change the course of students’ lives. Major gifts may also be used to support the work of current professors, bring in visiting scholars, support public service engagement, and further research. Major gift minimums start at 25,000 and are payable over five years.

Every donor plays an integral role in the College’s success that we strive to recognize. Donors can expect timely acknowledgements, accurate reporting, and appropriate recognition.
Honor Roll of Donors
UGA’s fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30, and donors are named to our Honor Roll of Donors for the corresponding fiscal year.
For tax exemption purposes, all gifts received by the College of Education are acknowledged with a gift receipt from the Office of Gift Accounting. The College will issue additional acknowledgements as needed.
Donors receive invitations throughout the year to University and college wide activities and programs, as well as to various specific giving society events. Giving society membership is also based on fiscal year giving.
