Our mission is to provide support and education to students and faculty to advance excellence in learning, teaching, and service.
The Office of Academic Programs handles five major areas within the college:
Specifically, the office oversees the College's overall performance-based assessment system by assisting programs with ongoing national, state, and university program assessment and accreditation efforts; managing the collection of information for various College reports; and working with external bodies including the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. The office also helps with curricular changes within the College, oversees the Student Services Office, and coordinates international activities.
We provide broad support to faculty, students, and staff, as well as our community partners. We offer resources for teacher preparation and allied professional fields as well as accreditation, curriculum support, and student services.
Our office supports innovations in the classroom as well as online. This includes classroom support, one-on-one consultations, instructional design, and faculty development opportunities.
