Introduction
Faculty members at the University of Georgia’s College of Education hope to transform individuals, organizations, and communities throughout Georgia and beyond. The Office of Outreach and Engagement is committed to connecting faculty expertise and other College resources to enable this transformation. Our office’s outreach efforts focus on extending the College’s expertise and institutional resources from the campus to provide solutions to education and health-related needs, while our engagement efforts focus on partnerships with communities and organizations for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources.Section 2
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)
This outreach program is dedicated to meeting the intellectual, social, and cultural needs of mature adults through lifelong learning.Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL)
A statewide umbrella organization, this group provides unity of school leadership in Georgia.Horizons
Horizons Atlanta at the University of Georgia is a summer learning experience that supports students from underserved communities in Athens through their K-8 academic careers by providing high-quality academics in an engaging and enriching program.
Student Events and Organizations
With an ongoing event calendar and over 20 official student organizations, there are endless ways for MFECOE students to get involved with the college during their time at UGA.Recruitment and Visitation
This office is dedicated to recruiting students to our 130+ graduate programs and coordinating visits to the MFECOE .
