Education Specialist, Center for Latino Achievement and Success in Education
Jodi Weber joined CLASE in the winter of 2013. She was a public school educator, serving as an elementary and high school special education teacher for 14 years, and as an elementary school administrator for 18 years. Jodi Weber's work with CLASE has focused on the IES project: Improving the Teaching and Learning of English Language Learners: The Instructional Conversation Model. She works closely with Dr. Paula Mellom in developing, planning, and implementing professional development for teachers across the state of Georgia in the culturally responsive pedagogy, Instructional Conversations. Additionally, Ms. Weber liaises with District personnel to maintain strong relationships and communication between the Center and schools.
