Veronica grew up in metro Atlanta and lived in Georgia until moving to New York City for college. After three years, she returned to her home state and transferred to the University of Georgia, ultimately earning her bachelors degree in English. After completing her undergraduate degree, Veronica worked in various positions in student affairs and academic advising while completing her graduate degrees.
A self proclaimed introvert, Veronica's favorite aspects of academic advising include problem solving, getting to know students individually and helping students create manageable plans that move them toward their academic and professional goals.
In her spare time, Veronica enjoys performing arts, blogging, cooking, watching UNC basketball and UGA football, and traveling.
