The Center for Counseling and Personal Evaluation provides professional services for a wide range of interpersonal, behavioral, and educational concerns. Our services address:

  • Individual counseling for children, adolescents, and adults
  • Couples and family counseling
  • Learning disabilities
  • Attention deficit disorders
  • Developmental deficits
  • General psychological evaluation

Based within the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, we are a mental health clinic that serves all ages in the community as well as UGA students, faculty, and staff. Our services are provided by graduate clinicians in training under the supervision of department faculty.

Our services are paid on a sliding fee scale.

Our hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, Friday until 5. Please call our clinic at 706-542-8508 to arrange for services.

About our services

We offer assessment and evaluation services for children, adolescents and adults, plus counseling services. Each year, we see clients from more than a dozen counties across North Georgia.

Fees and payment information

We work with with individuals, schools, agencies, and other providers to give affordable, comprehensive services. Our fees are paid on a sliding scale, and we will discuss this with you before your first appointment.
