Lunar New Year Celebration

Join us to learn more about Chinese culture and Lunar New Year traditions found throughout Asia!

Celebrating with music, food, literature, and art-making, we bring Grace Lin and Yu Hua's children's and adult literature to life. We will make origami friends, learn to use chopsticks, and explore new vegetables and snacks that we might not see in our regular grocery stores—this Year of the Dog party is not to be missed! Also, dragon-making workshop participants will show off their creativity throughout the festival day along with performances and book giveaways.

Free copies of NEA Big Read books will be given away by lottery at the event.

Registration

$2 per person; guests younger than 2 are free.
