Smooth Dawgs is one of three summer intensive communication programs offered by the College of Education's Department of Communication Sciences and Special Education.
Smooth Dawgs focuses on prolonged speech and offers a research-supported approach to smooth, fluent speech for adolescents and adults who stutter. Clients learn speech fluency skills and learn to manage their stuttering in a supportive, outcomes-focused context.
The program meets 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 2-13
Services will be provided by graduate student clinicians under the guidance and supervision of UGA faculty members with expertise and required credentials in speech-language pathology, special education, and early childhood education.
