Plan to prepare a poster to showcase your research, hear from the keynote speaker, take part in interactive sessions, and enjoy lunch with fellow colleagues and visiting prospective graduate students.

This will be a day of learning, engagement, and building a collaborative research community.

Graduate Student Poster Competition

All College of Education graduate students are encouraged to participate in conference activities and to submit an abstract to present a poster. All submissions will be accepted. One person should be designated as the presenting author; this person should indicate the poster category and submit the poster title, an abstract, and the names of additional authors where prompted on the registration form.

Be prepared to give a ~three-minute explanation of your research and answer any questions posed by the judge(s) during your assigned session.

Please refer to the poster guidelines document for exact specifications on poster size, suggested content, and printing option. Select the category in which your poster topic best fits (see below). Recognition will be awarded to the top three posters in the following categories:

  • Administration, policy, and systems
  • Health and wellness
  • Language, literature, and digital literacies
  • Learning and teaching
  • Measurement, assessment, and evaluation
  • Social, diversity, and cultural studies

The deadline to register for the poster presentation is Friday, Jan. 18 at 11:59 p.m.

Students are not required to present a poster in order to participate in other conference activities.

We welcome CURO recipients to take part in all conference activities. Please complete the registration form as well.
