The Safe Space program at UGA is a three-and-a-half-hour training for faculty, staff, and students who are interested in learning about gender and sexual identity, anti-LGBTQ+ bias, heterosexism, and how they can provide support and work toward being an ally for the LGBTQ+ community.
Facilitated by the UGA LGBT Resource Center and sponsored by the College of Education's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This workshop counts toward the faculty and staff Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion.
