Archway Partnership in Dalton-Whitfield County connects families to schools

The COE Archway Partnership launched its work with Dalton-Whitfield County this fall to support the community in its efforts to develop tri-directional partnerships among schools, families, and community organizations. COE Language and Literacy Education faculty JoBeth Allen (professor and Public Service and Outreach 2012 Fellow) and Roberta Gardner (Archway graduate assistant and doctoral candidate in the Department of Language and Literacy Education) are collaborating with a dynamic team of educators headed by RHonda Hayes of Dalton Public Schools and Caroline Woodason of Whitfield County Schools.
