Two alumni among 10 finalists for Georgia Teacher of the Year
Two College of Education alumni -- Nick Crowder and Hyunjin Son -- were among the 10 finalists for the 2015 Georgia Teacher of the Year, State School Superintendent John Barge (EdD '04) announced in a press release on April 7.
Crowder (MEd '12) , who teaches engineering education in South Forsyth County High School, earned his master's degree in learning, design and technology at UGA.
Son (MEd '07), who teaches physics and foundations of engineering & technology in the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology, earned his master's degree in science education at UGA.
