Gwinnett School Chief: Leadership, collective responsibility keys to student success

Gwinnett County School Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks (BSED, '64 MED '68) writes an essay in the "Get Schooled" blog of the June 16 _Atlanta Journal Constitution___ about the importance of leadership and collective responsibility in raising student achievement. Wilbanks earned a bachelor's degree in industrial arts education and a master's in trade and industrial education from the UGA College of Education. He has served as superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools since 1996.__
