Kiracofe featured on NIU College of Education website

Christine Rienstra Kiracofe (MA '00, EdD '04) an associate professor at Northern Illinois University where teaches Education Law and Legal Aspects of School Business Management in the School of Law and College of Education, was recently featured on the NIU College of Education's website.

Kiracofe holds a master's degree in art history and a doctorate in educational administration with an emphasis on education law and finance from UGA. Kiracofe was a graduate student research assistant with John Dayton, professor in the Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy.

Kiracofe has authored more than 20 articles and book chapters and her work has been cited in law reviews, education finance literature, and court documents. She is a member of the Education Law & Policy Review Editorial Board and has been a member of the Authors' Committee for West's Education Law Reporter since 2005. Kiracofe was named a Distinguished Research & Practice Fellow by the National Education Finance Conference (National Education Finance Academy) in 2013_._
