Smagorinsky in AJC: Is the cost of college a burden worth sharing?

College of Education Distinguished Research Professor Peter Smagorinsky wrote a piece last week for the "Get Schooled" blog in the Atlanta Journal Constitution on whether colleges prepared students to be work-ready. It inspired many online comments from readers. In response to one such comment, Smagorinsky wrote this second piece on June 9 focusing on the cost and the value of a college education.
