Fecho: 'In Education, Change is the Only Constant'

Bob Fecho, a professor and head of the Department of Language and Literacy Education, writes an invited essay titled, "In Education Change is the Only Constant," to mark the 40th anniversary of the National Writing Project (NWP). Fecho, who co-directs the Red Clay Writing Project based in UGA's College of Education, was a fellow in the first summer institute of the Philadelphia Writing Project held in 1986. His most recent book is Teaching for the Students: Habits of Heart, Mind, and Practice in the Engaged Classroom published by Teachers College Press and NWP.
