A time to celebrate success stories
The new school year kicks off a renewed effort at the UGA College of Education to stay in touch with you, our alumni. This means more than keeping you informed with the College's latest research projects or the statistics of our newest freshman class. Of course those are important — but instead, we are reaching out to our graduates in order to share your accomplishments.
This effort follows a new energy coming from the College. Our inaugural Director of Alumni Relations, Elizabeth Gaughf, is now planning programs around Georgia for our alumni, bringing our alumni efforts to you. The annual Alumni Awards, now in its fourth year, highlight the accomplishments of our past graduates, old and new. And our new e-newsletter is one more way we are reaching out.
With more than 60,000 alumni living across the United States and around the world, we want to celebrate your accomplishments outside of the College of Education. Share your alumni news and achievements with us, and I look forward to reading more about them in future editions of our alumni e-newsletter and on our website.
