Kinesiology program ranks in top 10

The College of Education's kinesiology program is among the top 10 places to get a degree in health and physical fitness, according to a recent report from the college rankings website College Factual.

Published in the Nov. 18 online edition of USA Today, the University of Georgia ranked No. 8, noting that students who study health and physical education "leave the program with a strong understanding of the field and working experience leading to an average mid-career salary of $61,000."

College Factual is a web-based rankings website that allows users to sort schools by different sets of data to tailor results.
