Two alums honored by Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Last fall, two College of Education alumni were among four inductees into the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Alumni Hall of Fame: Vasti Torres (MEd '86, PhD '97) and Frank Ros (BSEd '82, MEd '84).

Torres is dean of the University of South Florida's College of Education and was the keynote speaker at the 2014 College of Education convocation ceremony. Ros, assistant vice president of Latin affairs for the Coca-Cola Company, was also captain of the 1980 UGA football team, the year in which it won the national championship.

The honor features recipients who embody the ideals of the fund.
