Cahnmann-Taylor featured in latest Graduate School magazine

The latest issue of the University of Georgia Graduate School magazine includes a large feature on a poetry boot camp and the ensuing creative process led by Melisa Cahnmann-Taylor, a professor in the Department of Language and Literacy Education.

Through vignettes of the participants, a peek into their writing process and a visit to their final performance at Hendershot's, the article shows how Cahnmann-Taylor leads the participants through the boot camp. All of the participants are graduate students, and they signed up for a chance to focus on their writing. The boot camp culminated in the third annual A Seat in the Shade poetry event, which brought five noted poets to the stage along with the boot campers.
