Living in Germany didn't stop Emily Heath LaFon from getting her MEd in educational psychology.

The '09 graduate caught the travel bug after spending several months teaching in New Zealand as part of the Consortium for Overseas Student Teacher program. When she returned to Georgia, she realized she wanted to teach overseas. Today, she teaches third-graders at an international school in Germany.

After attending a professional development course, LaFon realized she wanted to go back to school and learn more—and she turned to UGA's online courses, where she realized she could get her MEd from the very first fully online cohort for educational psychology.
