Melissa Varley named superintendent in New Jersey

Melissa Varley (EdD '01) was recently named the superintendent of the Florham Park School district in New Jersey. Varley's position begins July 1, and she comes to Florham Park from Sparta, New Jersey, where she was assistant superintendent for curriculum and staff development for the 3,500-student system.

Varley earned her doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Georgia College of Education.
