O'Connor quoted in Parade magazine

The most recent issue of Parade magazine features kinesiology professor Pat O'Connor's advice in a story on ways baby boomers can boost their energy.

Rather than fill up on energy drinks and coffee for a pick-me-up, boomers should get moving as one way to feel more energetic. "Sedentary people typically have lower-than-average energy levels," said O'Connor. "A single 20- to 40-minute bout of exercise reliably increases feelings of energy."

Other energy-boosting activities included removing TVs and other screens from the bedroom, eating more protein, regular teeth cleanings and avoiding boredom.
