Petersen finalist for Aiken superintendent

Mark Petersen (EdS '88, EdE '96) is one of four finalists for superintendent for Aiken County Public Schools in South Carolina, reports the Aiken Standard.

The school board plans to interview candidates on June 27 and announce the finalist at a special called meeting June 30.

Petersen is currently superintendent of the Greenwood 52 School District in the town of Ninety Six, South Carolina, outside of Greenwood, South Carolina. He has also served as superintendent of McDuffie County Schools and Lanier County Schools in Georgia.
