College alumna, leader honored by UGA program
A leader for the University of Georgia College of Education has also been honored by UGA's alumni association.
Cara Turano (BSEd '01) is among the winners of the UGA Alumni Association's 2015 40 Under 40 list. The program recognizes alumni 40 and younger who have made great strides in their personal and professional endeavors, and maintained a lifelong commitment to the university.
Turano is the secretary for the College of Education's Board of Visitors. After attending UGA and graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Turano began her career at the regional consulting firm CTS. Today, she is vice president of sales for software developer CaféX Communications.
This year's 40 Under 40 honorees were recognized during a luncheon on Sept. 10 at the InterContinentalBuckhead. This is the fifth year for the awards.
