Kinesiology study featured in US News

A study led by Rod Dishman that examined ways to get kids more involved in physical activity was recently featured in U.S. News & World Report.The study, published in the September issue of the journal Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, found that children's activity levels fell 50 percent between fifth and sixth grades. But when this happens, parents shouldn't make their kids feel guilty for not being physically active.Read the full story.
