Professor featured in latest podcast from American Psychological Association

Anneliese Singh, an associate professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, is the latest expert featured in the American Psychological Association's podcast series, "Speaking of Psychology."

In her episode, "Helping Transgender People Thrive," she discusses how she and other researchers are trying to understand resilience within this population. She also talks about new guidelines for the mental health professional who work with them.

Singh is part of a five-year National Institutes of Health study investigating resilience among transgender populations. "Speaking of Psychology" is a podcast series produced by the American Psychological Association highlighting some of the latest, most important and relevant psychological research.
