Several students in the Mary Frances Early College of Education students received university-level honors this spring. Ranging from undergraduate to doctoral, these students are honored for their dedication, hard work, and passion for learning.

First Honor Graduate

  • Kaitlyn R. Bjork (B.S.Ed. '20) in early childhood education

  • Kristin D. Crear (B.S.Ed. '20) in communication sciences and disorders

  • Megan E. Crozier (B.S.Ed. '20) in early childhood education

  • Emily Culpepper (B.S.Ed. '20) in communication sciences and disorders and minor in human development and family science

  • Tyler-Curtis Elliott (B.A. and B.S.Ed. '20) in Spanish and special education (adapted curriculum)

  • Makenzie L. Grilliot (B.S.Ed. '20) in exercise and sport science

  • Elaine Liu (B.S.Ed. '20) in early childhood education

  • Stephanie A. Seda (M.Ed. '21) in early childhood education

Graduate School Excellence in Teaching Award

  • Rhia Moreno Kilpatrick (Ph.D. '20) in language and literacy education with an emphasis on world language education

  • Rachel Rose Ranschaert (Ph.D. '22) just finished her third year working toward a Ph.D. in the Department of Educational Theory and Practice

Outstanding Honors Program Student

  • Janelle Hampton (B.S.Ed. '20) in early childhood education major

Student Employee of the Year

  • Katie Ebbert (B.S.Ed. '20) in biological engineering in the College of Engineering, work-study student in the College's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
