Congratulations to our nine First Honor Graduates!

Six First Honor Graduates will be recognized during the University of Georgia's spring 2021 Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 15.

To be a First Honor Graduate, a student must maintain a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average throughout their undergraduate studies, as well as in all college-level transfer work before or after enrolling at UGA.

The College's spring 2021 First Honor Graduates are the following:

  • Elizabeth Blevins (B.S.Ed. '21) in social studies education
  • Phaidra Buchanan (B.S.Ed. '21) in social studies education
  • Madeline Gann (B.S.Ed. '21) in elementary education
  • Anna Gentry (B.S.Ed. '21) in elementary education
  • Cooper Henderson (B.S.Ed. '21) in communication sciences and disorders
  • Barbara Lang (B.S.Ed. '21) in special education

Additionally, three First Honor Graduates will be recognized this summer. The College's summer 2021 First Honor Graduates are the following:

  • Jeffrey Minge (B.S.Ed. '21) in sport management
  • Emilee Poppell (B.S.Ed. '21) in exercise and sport science
  • Adelaide Stewart (B.S.Ed. '21) in communication sciences and disorders
