Barnhart receives inaugural Dean's Award for Outstanding Contributions to Graduate Education
Dana Barnhart (B.S. ’12), student affairs professional in the Mary Frances Early College of Education’s Department of Kinesiology, was recently named the Graduate Coordinator Assistant recipient of the inaugural Dean’s Award for Outstanding Contributions to Graduate Education.
The award, given by the Graduate School, recognizes the positive impacts made by recipients within their graduate programs and throughout the University.
“I am very honored to receive the inaugural Dean’s Award for Outstanding Contributions to Graduate Education,” Barnhart said. “I am passionate about helping students, and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside the wonderful graduate students in kinesiology each day.”
She will be recognized for the award during Honors Week at the Graduate School luncheon on Tuesday, April 19.
