Eight Bulldog 100 companies linked to the Mary Frances Early College of Education

The University of Georgia’s 2024 Bulldog 100 list honors nine alumni from the Mary Frances Early College of Education.

This annual recognition, sponsored by the UGA Alumni Association, recognizes the fastest-growing businesses owned or operated by UGA alumni. The winners were measured by their business’s compounded annual growth rate over a three-year period.

This year’s fastest-growing businesses with ties to the College include:

  • ASW Distillery, Atlanta, GA (Kelly Chasteen, B.S.Ed. ’00): ASW Distillery is Georgia’s first single malt whiskey maker, combining Scottish traditions with Southern style to make its award-winning products. Since 2018, ASW has received more awards than any other craft whiskey distillery from the San Francisco World Spirits competition.
  • Clark Drug Company, Waynesboro, GA (Pete Nagel, M '15): Clark Drug Company was built on the foundation of bringing relationships back to medicine. In addition to providing medication refills, the company also encourages and motivates customers as partners on their health journey.
  • Comprehensive Behavior Change, LLC, Duluth, GA (Katherine Smith, B.S.Ed. ’07, M.Ed. ’09, Ph.D. ’14 and Jennifer Alexander-Sanchez, B.S.Ed. ’06, M.Ed. ’10, Ph.D. ’14): Founded by special education teachers trained in behavior analysis, CBC provides special education and behavior analytic services to students in over 30 school districts in Georgia.
  • Culinary Solution Centers, LLC, Zebulon, GA (Cydnie Story, B.S.H.E. ’87, M.Ed. ’93): Culinary Solution Centers is a K-12 consulting agency comprised of experts in school nutrition programs. The center is focused on streamlining school meal systems.
  • Erica Davis Lowcountry, Savannah, GA (Erica Davis, B.S.Ed. ’99): Erica Davis Lowcountry is a restaurant and caterer that has served Savannah, Bluffton, Beaufort, Charleston, and St. Simons Island for over 20 years. The restaurant’s coastal southern cuisine brings together fresh seafood, barbecue, and southern sides.
  • Good Dog Veterinary Care, Marietta, GA (Natalie Singletary, B.S.Ed. ’12): Good Dog Veterinary Care is a full-service veterinary hospital specializing in wellness and preventive care, dentistry, internal medicine cases, soft tissue surgery, and breeding management while also welcoming critical and emergency cases.
  • Savannah Drywall Supply, Pooler, GA (Amanda Montford, B.S.Ed. ’01): For more than five decades, Savannah Drywall has provided superior service to the construction industry with its supply of quality architectural finishes, gypsum products, tools, and accessories.
  • Shore Coaching Services, Athens, GA (Holly Ward, B.S.Ed. ’87, M.Ed. ’95, Ph.D. ’03): Shore Coaching Services works with clients to improve work performances as individuals, teams, and organizations. The company has served more than 1,000 clients over 20 years in professional coaching.
UGA will host the annual Bulldog 100 Celebration in Athens, Georgia, on February 9, 2024. During the celebration, UGA will recognize these alumni business leaders and count down the ranked list to reveal the No. 1 fastest-growing business.
