The University of Georgia’s 2026 Bulldog 100 list honors eight companies and seven alumni from the Mary Frances Early College of Education.
This annual recognition, sponsored by the UGA Alumni Association, recognizes the fastest-growing businesses owned or operated by UGA alumni. The winners were measured by their business’s compounded annual growth rate over a three-year period.
This year’s fastest-growing businesses with ties to the College include:
- Big Apple Services Inc., Conyers, GA (Josh Cagliani, M.Ed. ’10): Big Apple Services is a family-owned and operated company that delivers high-quality road paving services across the Southeast. The Big Apple Services team has worked on projects with the Atlanta airport, Amazon, Mercedes Benz, Home Depot, and more.
- Good Dog Veterinary Care, Marietta, GA (Natalie Singletary, B.S.Ed. ’12): Good Dog Veterinary Care is a full-service veterinary hospital specializing in wellness and preventive care, dentistry, internal medicine cases, soft tissue surgery, and breeding management while also welcoming critical and emergency cases.
- Joe Powell and Associates and Joe Powell Services Inc., Alpharetta, GA (Stephanie Powell, B.S.Ed. ’94, M.Ed. ’97, Ed.S. ’99): For more than 50 years, Joe Powell and Associates has been providing “mission-critical solutions” in Georgia and beyond to safeguard IT applications by providing uninterruptible power supply systems, thermal management systems, network protection, and more.
- Marion Body Works, Inc., Marion, WI (Kevin Ignacio, B.S.Ed. ’14): Founded in 1905, Marion Body Works began as a small milk wagon builder and is now Wisconsin’s leading commercial truck body manufacturer offering industry-leading manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and welding, as well as testing and inspections.
- Scarbor Land Planning, LLC, Tifton, GA (Kelly Scarbor, M.Ed. ’02): Scarbor Land Planning & Construction is a licensed and insured utility contractor in Georgia, offering multiple services including installation of water and sewer mains, stormwater infrastructure, sewer lift stations, underground detention systems, and more.
- Shore Coaching, Athens, GA (Holly Ward, B.S.Ed. ’87; M.Ed. ’95; Ph.D. ’03): Shore Coaching works with clients to improve work performances as individuals, teams, and organizations. The company works with managers, executives, and individuals to identify development opportunities, build awareness, facilitate learning, and more.
- Starface, New York, NY (Brian Bordainick, B.S.Ed. ’07): Starface is a skincare brand that offers hydrocolloid pimple patches to heal acne, zits, and blemishes, as well as face wash, acne stickers, acne cleaners, moisturizers, and more.
