Reschly named editor-elect of School Psychology Review
College of Education faculty member Amy Reschly has been named editor-elect of School Psychology Review, the flagship journal of the National Association of School Psychologists. She will serve as editor-elect in 2015 and as editor in 2016.
Schmidt: People don't realize how serious concussions are
"In the general population, there's a misunderstanding about concussions and a lot of people don't understand what it is and how serious it is," said Julianne Schmidt, an assistant professor of exercise science in UGA's College of Education who specializes in concussion research. Schmidt is featured in a September 11 Red & Black story on athletes and head trauma.

Jill Pittman (BSEd '85), principal of Goodlettsville Middle School in Tennessee, was one of two Nashville metro area educators elected for a prestigious two-year fellowship with "America Achieves," a national organization which works to build high-quality educational systems through professional training.
