Speech and Hearing Screenings
The UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic offers screenings of speech, language, voice, resonance, fluency, and hearing for members of the community age 3 and older. Screenings are conducted by graduate students who are earning a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and are closely supervised by state-licensed and nationally certified audiologists and speech-language pathologists.
Our on-campus clinic hosts free screenings twice a year, in the spring and fall semesters by appointment only. For upcoming screening dates visit our events page or give us a call.
Also, throughout the year, our students go into the community to perform thousands of screenings. We perform more than 3,000 screenings each year on children alone. We visit:
- Public and private schools
- Senior citizens facilities
- County government employees
- Other community organizations
