Camp DIVE (Discover, Inquire, Voice, Explore) is a partnership between the Clarke County School District, the University of Georgia College of Education, and the Athens-Clarke County community.
The purpose of Camp DIVE is to provide an engaging and enriching summer experience for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, while also giving UGA students the opportunity to get hands-on experience working with children and youth from the Athens community.
Students at Camp DIVE:
Camp DIVE is offered to students at no charge and runs for four weeks during the summer, Mondays through Thursdays, at a Clarke County School; all-day field trips take place each Friday. Breakfast and lunch are provided through the Clarke County School District food program, and some targeted transportation is provided as well.
Daily programming is provided by UGA faculty and students, CCSD teachers, and special guest sessions by local community non-profit groups.
