Fund Purpose

This fund provides an annual award to a first year graduate student in the department of Counseling and Human Development Services who best represents the standards of leadership exemplified and taught by Edie Klein before her death. This award will signify to alumni and fellow students the importance that leadership in and out of the classroom holds. The student selected will be a leader among her or his classmates and will have assumed significant service roles in the University of Georgia, in Athens, and/or in the community from which they came.
