Jill Crim Memorial Fund

This fund was created in 2021 in memory of Jillian Smith Crim, an early childhood education graduate of UGA. Jill loved children’s literature and was passionate about literacy education. The purpose of this fund is to provide annual awards to outstanding undergraduate students studying elementary education.

Eligibility

Awarded to undergraduate juniors and seniors majoring in elementary education
Outstanding academic achievement, conceived broadly

How to Apply

Completed application form, including signature and recommendations
Personal statement (300-500 words about yourself, your academic/professional achievements, reasons for applying, and career plans)
Resume/curriculum vitae
Two (2) letters of recommendation from faculty or instructor(s)

Applicants will be notified of committee decisions via email by June. Awarded scholarship funds are distributed to student accounts at the beginning of Fall semester.
