McGuffey Scholarship

The purpose of the McGuffey scholarship is to award a doctoral student(s) in educational administration, whose studies will include research into the impact of a school’s physical environment on teacher behavior, pupil behavior, and/or pupil learning.

The selection committee shall be chaired by the department head and shall include at least two other members of the College of Education faculty.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be doctoral students in the Educational Administration and Policy program. If interested, applicants’ research must focus on the impact of a school’s physical environment on teacher behavior, pupil behavior, and/or pupil learning.
