Eligibility

This scholarship is available to graduate students who are enrolled in teacher education programs in the College of Education. Candidates must have taught five or more years at the secondary level and/or state their intention to make a career in secondary education in Georgia.

Preference will be accorded to candidates from Oconee and Clarke Counties. Please address how you meet these requirements in your personal essay and provide evidence of previous teaching experience (resume or CV should be attached).

Fund Purpose

This fund provides a graduate scholarship at the masters or doctoral level to those having taught at least five years at one or more secondary schools in the state of Georgia and who intend to make a career in secondary education, preferably teachers from Oconee and Clarke counties.
