Fund Purpose

This fund provides scholarship support for an undergraduate or graduate student(s) in the Mary Frances Early College of Education to participate in experiential learning opportunities at the University of Georgia. Highest priority will be given to those majoring in Mathematics Education.

About the Donor

This fund was established by Dr. Francis “Sandy” Norman, III and Mrs. Carla Norman in memory of Dr. Sigrid Wagner. Dr. Wagner received a doctorate in Math Education in 1977 from New York University then went on to teach and advise graduate students at the University of Georgia’s College of Education. She also taught at Ohio State University before retiring. Dr. Wagner passed away peacefully in February 2016.
