  • Eligibility: Any student enrolled in the Mary Frances Early College of Education that finds themselves in an emergency situation or temporary financial hardship.

  • Major: Students in any Mary Frances Early College of Education major are eligible to apply.

  • Department: Students in any Mary Frances Early College of Education department are eligible to apply.

  • How to apply: To apply, please visit Student Care and Outreach (SCO) in the Tate Student Center across from Starbucks. You may also fill out a request for support funds form through SCO. If you are also a student teacher, please provide that information so SCO can consider your eligibility for the Abigail Reddic Student Teaching Emergency Fund .

Fund Purpose

This fund provides financial assistance to Mary Frances Early College of Education students facing temporary hardship related to an emergency situation. Assistance will be provided under the care and direction of Student Care & Outreach within UGA Student Affairs. Support shall include, but is not limited to, emergency funding, medical expenses, temporary housing, meals, and other related expenses as deemed appropriate by the director of SCO.
