Earn course credit toward your degree while studying with College of Education programs in Europe, Asia, Africa, or Latin America. Or, take advantage of partnerships at schools around the world to earn additional course credit or teaching experience.

Our study abroad trips offer a variety of times and courses, which can be taken during semester breaks, during a short session, or for a full semester. Each program blends coursework with experiences that allow you to also learn about the people and culture of the host country.

American Sign Language in Paris, FranceThis program provides American Sign Language (ASL) students—with competencies in Levels 2 and 3—with opportunities to engage with Deaf people and Deaf culture in Paris, France.
Consortium for Overseas Student TeachingWhether it’s a high school science class in Australia or an elementary school class in South Africa, as a participant in the Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching (COST) program, you learn first-hand what it means to be a teacher in a global society.
Finland and BelgiumDuring this two-week program, 25 students and UGA faculty will visit, interact, and explore Finnish and Belgian people, organizations, infrastructures, and programs to learn about their unique perspectives related to exercise, physical education, sport industry, and public health.
Germany and AustriaEmbark on an unforgettable study abroad journey that will allow you to explore globalization at the intersection of language and culture in two of Europe’s most captivating cities: Munich, Germany, and Vienna, Austria.
ItalyDuring Maymester, 15-20 students and UGA faculty directors work with pre-school, elementary, and middle-school students and teachers in Modena, Italy.
Madrid, SpainThis program brings renowned sports leaders and executives, top faculty from across the globe, and the expertise from Real Madrid C. F. to prepare students to manage institutions successfully and responsibly in fast-changing environments around the world.
TaiwanLearn medical practices and techniques used in Taiwan, plus various traditional Chinese therapeutic techniques used to treat athletes of all levels.
