During this month-long program, your will use reflections, discussion, and theoretical readings to explore where language and culture come together, and how this affects the teaching of ESL/EFL.

The program's service-learning component allows you to apply what you are learning during a week-long "English Camp" for local elementary school children. Through this experience, you will develop interactive lessons that integrate the Costa Rican national science curriculum while exploring ways to teach non-native speakers.

Courses are taught in both state-of-the art classrooms and "living classroom" excursions.
